Synopsis:
A sassy stylist, a shy ballet instructor, an aspiring actress and a youthful fashionsta share their stories in Director Sue Vannasing's short film. "Table Top: Volume 1" blends light-hearted drama with a dash of comedy. Based in the always gorgeous city of Los Angeles, the non linear narrative explores stories of romance, triumph and fear.
The film will introduced you to Crystal (Kristal Oates), Vanessa (Zana Vannasing), Rachel (Audra Bidner) and Nicole (Micaela Beckwith) and the series of events they've experienced. The ladies get together to share their stories during an afternoon 'girl talk' catch up session.
"Table Top: Volume 1," is compilation of 4 chapters told by the ladies as they each explore their own personal issues within their everyday lives.
Chapter 1: "I'm About To Be..."
Crystal has to make a difficult decision she must decide to stay in a relationship with her boyfriend Darrius (Don Walls) and continue to support the man she loves along with his dreams or let him go in order to allow him to focus on his dreams without her.
Chapter 2: "Good vs. Groupie"
The youngest of the group, Vanessa is faced with balancing being professional and staying cool at the workplace when dealing with Celebrities and Groupies.
Chapter 3: "Wine & Diamonds?"
After being in a 5 year relationship with her boyfriend Marvin (Darryll C. Scott) and living an ideal life with him, Rachel starts to question their future.
Chapter 4: "Bumpy Beginnings"
Nicole is focused on spreading the gift of ballet and graceful movements. She often forgets to stop and smell the roses or enjoy the surprises that life has to offer.
